The UpDog Challenge is hosting a one of a kind event at the Pittsburg Pet Expo.
This unique competition combines dogs and humans and frisbees for an exciting race to accumulate the most points in a variety of games. Friday is open and wildcard games. Saturday squads made up of 4 teams will go head to head and Sunday teams will go head to head in single elimination brackets. The winner advances for a chance at the championship. This event is indoors on agility mats. You will park nearby and crate inside beside the field.
There will be great crowds and also a section curtained off for crating.
There are 2 different knockout brackets and some open games at this event. Saturdays knockout bracket is squad vs squad . Sundays knockout bracket is team vs team. And Friday we will play freestyle and pairs TnGo.
Friday 5-9pm
Freestyle / Pairs ThrowNGo. ($10 per round). Freestyle will be L1 or L2 Performance
We should also have time to add some wildcard games on Friday.
Saturday – 10am-8pm
Squads, made up of 4 teams each, will compete in a single elimination knockout bracket. Squads will be randomly ranked in a bracket and face off head to head with other squads. All 4 teams play the game, the squads points are cumulative. The squad with the most total points for that game will advance to the next round. Squads must play all 3 games 4wp, TW, L1 TnGo. Each game has its own bracket and champion.

Sunday. 10am-5pm
this is a team vs team, head to head elimination bracket. You will be ranked per game and placed in a bracket. Each team matched against another team. The team that wins (scores more points) advances to the next round. The other team is eliminated. First and last round are full rounds. The middle rounds will be rush rounds, reduced time, same rules. We will play Friz, Greedy, L2 TnGo
$10 per team per game
Head to Head elimination
( you will be seeded and placed in a single elimination bracket. up to 30 total teams. 1st round and final round will be 1 minute. All other rounds will be modified to 30secs only. Finals teams could play 5 rounds per game which would be 3.5 mins total. Most teams will get 2 mins of total play.
Top 3 get Ribbons and top teams/squad earns a cash payout
